BRIDGEPORT – June 23, 2020 – Aquarion Water Company today announced the appointment of Adam Simonsen as Director of Business Development. In his role at Aquarion, he will be responsible for leading the company’s acquisition strategy, developing business opportunities, and advancing partnerships with municipalities.
“Adam brings significant water and wastewater asset management and municipal sales and marketing experience to Aquarion,” said Don Morrissey, President of Aquarion Water Company. “We’re excited to work with Adam to grow our business and provide even more communities with high-quality water service.”
Adam joins Aquarion with over two decades of professional experience. In his most recent position, Adam served as Director of Enterprise Solutions at utility management software firm Sedaru, Inc. At Sedaru, Adam managed the sales organization, working with utilities and communities across New England and the United States.

Adam holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Rhode Island. He resides in Watertown, CT with his family. He has supported his community by serving as a board member of the Greater Waterbury YMCA, and as a coach of youth soccer and lacrosse.
